Educational Assessment Australia

Corporate Conscience

corporate conscience image faqEducational Assessment Australia (EAA) is an education group of UNSW Global Pty Limited, a not-for-profit wholly owned enterprise of the University of New South Wales (UNSW). All profits received from the sale of EAA’s products are used to cover the costs of producing the high quality full-colour test materials, and maintaining and improving our services to schools. Any surplus funds are donated annually to the University of New South Wales. In turn, these funds are used by UNSW to support activities in the tertiary education sector and research projects such as childhood cancer.

EAA also recognises the special learning needs of some students by customising our ICAS test booklets. To this end, we work with the New South Wales Department of Education and Communities to provide Braille test booklets for visually impaired students all over Australia and New Zealand. In addition, we provide test booklets on coloured paper or in a large print format on A3 paper.

In 2015, we recognised the special learning needs of 100 students by providing test booklets in Braille, large print or on coloured paper at no additional cost to these students, their families or their schools.
