In 2008, millions of students participated in ICAS around the world. Top performing students in each locale are awarded a University of NSW Medal and invited to celebrate their success with their parents, teachers and staff at awards ceremonies. The medal itself is made from zinc alloy and plated with 22ct gold.

Other high performing students receive certificates of High Distinction, Distinction and Credit. All students who participate receive a UNSW Certificate of participation acknowledging their achievement.

We hope that by celebrating academic achievement students will be inspired to strive for further success in the years ahead.
